Why should we learn about the Mikdash?

Today  when the Temple Mount is being ruled by non-jews, it is our duty to strengthen our connection to this holy place.
In depth learning will deepen our yearnings for the Beit  Hamikdash which are within the soul of every jew.

The lessons will also emphasize the special power and connection that women have to the Temple.
Topics (the following are just a sample(

The structure of the second temple:
The various  parts and chambers, including the holy of holies. We will learn how the Kitoret was made, where the Levi'im kept their musical instruments, where the Kohanim slept and the place where the women prepared the Parochet.
.
 The holidays:
As each holiday in the Jewish calendar approaches we will learn about the connection each holiday has to the Mikdash.
For example:  On Chanucha we will learn about the Menorah and the Or Haganuz, on Purim we will learn how Esther and Mordechai fought for the continued rebuilding of the second temple .On Pessach we will learn about the public  Korban Pessach  sacrificed in  Jerusalem.

 The Woman in the Mikdash
Accompanied by a beautiful slide show, the following topics are explored: Ezrat Nashim (Women's Courtyard), Korban Yoledet, the weaving of the curtains, the female Nazir and more.
This is a riveting lecture, and comes highly recommended by others who have experienced

 Har HaBayit in Our Day
This lecture accompanied by spectacular slides, explores the history of Har HaBayit throughout the generations and identifies specific sites on the Mount. The actual Halachot involved in ascending Har HaBayit are specified and it brings us to contemplate the ramifications of the absence of the Holy Temple in our day.
